Here's What This Is (And What Its Not)
For most of my life, I chased things that looked impressive—possessions, achievements, stories. But these days, I just want to be honest, useful, and maybe a little dangerous in how I live.
I’m Tyron. I’m a father, a husband, and a man who works in the oil and gas industry. I also think more deeply than most people expect, from the outside, I might look like a bloke who’s got it sorted, but underneath that is a constant pull to ask: What really matters? why do I do this?
I’ve done my time trying to prove myself. These days, I care more about being truthful. Authentic. Grounded.
I started Living True because I think a lot of men, and young boys especially, are hungry for something real. Something honest. I also think many women don’t fully see the weight men carry—genetic, societal, and self-imposed. We rarely talk about it, and when we do, it’s often filtered through shame or fear of being misunderstood (thanks Andrew Tate!)
This space is for exploring work, meaning, legacy, masculinity, fatherhood, living with purpose in a world that’s overflowing with noise, ego, and bullshit.
You won’t get fluff here. No inspirational quotes or hustle hacks. Just raw reflections, probably once a week. Some posts will be about surfing or mountain biking or building things. Some about failure, fatherhood, or fear. All of it comes from my real life, and from the choices I’m trying to make to live more consciously—more in line with how I believe a modern Australian man should live.
If you’re someone who’s trying to live with more courage, more clarity, and a bit more backbone, you’re in the right place.
Welcome to Living True.
